7. BFM Assignment
This section describes the buffer memory (BFM) of the FX
2N
-1RM.
When the FX
2N
Series PLC is connected to the FX
2N
-1RM, data can be read/written from/to the
BFM by FROM/TO instructions. (Refer to Paragraph 7.3.)
When two or three FX
2N
-1RM units are connected, FROM/TO instructions are available in only
the unit nearest to the PLC main unit.
The second and third FX
2N
-1RM units can write and read data from the PLC main unit via the
first FX
2N
-1RM unit.
